- Scream as loud as you can
- Hit or throw a pillow
- Hold ice in your hand

- Take a bath or shower
- Rub in a lotion or oil in the spot where you want to cut
- Play with a pet
- Paint your nails
- Have a cup of tea or coffee
- Clean/ re-arrange your room
- Cook or bake something
- Read
- Call your friend and have a chat with them
- Write a poem or story
- Snap a rubber band/hair band on your wrist (This is still a way of self harming, but it doesn’t leave scars)
- Pop bubble wrap
- Count to 100
- Pop balloons
- Try to make as many words out of your full name as possible
- Try to find the weird side of youtube
- Play some online games
